The Church in Strumica

After having a vision to start a Church in the city of Strumica, it finally came to pass in 2009. At the end of May 2009 we found a place to rent and announced that we would have meetings twice a week in the centre of Strumica. Strumica is a city of 40,000 people, it is an agricultural city with 72 villages making the Strumica region one of the biggest fruit and vegetables producer in Macedonia.

We have bible study meetings in the prison in Strumica and we feed the saved who come out of the prison into the church.The doors in the prison are open as we organized a football tournament in the prison and had 4 teams. We gave t-shirts as rewards to the first three teams and we could preach to all the inmates after the tournament. We plan to do some bigger events in the autumn so we can have bigger impact on the city and surrounding villages. In the 72 villages there are only 6 churches.  

The Banica Story

Banica is a village just 2 km from Strumica which is a city of 40,000 people. Strumica is fairly rich place, because it is an agriculturally developed region and they export a lot of goods. People in Strumica live comfortably and the city os very modern. However, even though Banica is just minutes from Strumica, life is drastically different than the city.

The Prosenikovo Story

My first contact with the village Prosenikovo came when we organized a football tournament with a special Swedish team from Ramlosa church. We had young people from three different villages and we promised a prize o t-shirts and caps for first, second and third place. Pastor Allejandro spoke to all present about Jesus.
